Our Identity

Rethinking Body Images

Who We Are

Culture

We are a collective of thinkers and practitioners who engage with society's perception of body images. Our work is rooted in the critical analysis of cultural norms.

“Identity forms in the tension between individual perception and collective images.”

Who We Work For

Society

We address individuals, educators, and organizations that wish to promote a reflective approach to body images in our society and strengthen individual self-perception.

“The perception of one's own body is never free from societal context.”

Our Approach

Perception

Our key is sensitization. We deconstruct prevailing narratives and open spaces for a more diverse and realistic perception of physicality and identity.

“A changed body image begins with a changed perspective.”

Our Tone

Identity

Our communication is empathetic, clear, and evidence-based. We speak respectfully and empoweringly, always with the goal of supporting self-esteem independent of external attributions.

“Real change happens through understanding, not through pressure.”
“Our body image is not only a reflection of ourselves, but also a product of societal perception.”

Our project exists to question and change the often harmful influence of societal norms on individual body image. We believe that the prevailing cultural perception of beauty and normality can strongly shape personal identity – often to the detriment of self-esteem. Our mission is to create a space for reflection and awareness-building. We advocate for people to develop their self-image more independently of external expectations. The expected effect for our clients is a strengthened, more authentic identity and a healthier relationship with their own body, based on acceptance rather than adaptation.
